Chris Murray is the co-founder of Yorkshire based Bleam Cyber Security
and a lead assessor for the Cyber Essentials scheme. Chris has extensive
experience working across information security, including in-sourcing a large managed network security service for one of the largest banks in the UK.

Chris is both a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and is accustomed to assisting organisations both with the implementation of strategic security governance and frameworks and also technical consulting and security assessments. 

Bleam provides specialist managed security services and security consulting to SME’s throughout the UK, protecting them from cybercrime and data breaches while enabling compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. 

Bleam decided to join the NEBRC as they feel it is a great cause that is trying to increase the awareness of cybercrime within the UK’s SME community. SME’s are unfortunately still failing to be proactive when it comes to addressing cyber security risks.
