Our cyber security services for SMEs are now live. As the UK sees businesses across many sectors return to work following the COVID-19 pandemic, the NEBRC is encouraging SMEs to implement cyber security measures to help reduce risk.
“Cyber crime is a global issue, and a growing concern for large and small businesses alike”,
comments Martin Wilson, Head of Cyber & Innovation for the North East Hub at NEBRC. “But cyber security does not need to be a daunting challenge for small business owners”, he adds. “The NEBRC works to provide SMEs with an affordable, practical approach to cyber security services, pulling on knowledge and experience from the police, the private sector and academia, to best understand and help reduce cyber security risks for our members.”
The NEBRC has already seen a strong response from a range of SMEs, including hairdressers, restaurants and professional services engaging in services to test their vulnerabilities, and learn what cyber resilience measures they can put in place to help mitigate risk.
