New BRIM Appointment - Director of Special Projects

BRIM has recently announced the appointment of Alan Greig as Director of Special Projects. Alan will assist in the delivery of the Cyber Resilience Centres as well as work on additional projects within BRIM.


Alan will assist BRIM in developing the strategic impact of integrated working between business and law enforcement for improved cyber resilience. Alan will contribute to the training and mentoring elements of the current Policing contract, as well as bringing additional Senior commercial leadership to the team.


Alan, a former consultant on the Critical National Infrastructure for leading technical organisations, saw his career flourish providing private online security services for some high profile individuals and companies for over 15 years. Trusted at the highest levels for personal online protection from Senior officials to high profile artists, Alan has a track record of growing a commercial business that provided services Internationally in tandem with multiple Law Enforcement agencies in different countries.

Award winner (2016) and finalist (2019) for his abilities in the cyber resilience community, these awards underline his hands on security experience and his ability to assist in developing the Nation’s cyber security skills and services.

Alan is passionate about the importance of positive Culture and Wellbeing within the cyber community.
