We’re delighted to celebrate Chantelle Whitham on achieving a distinction in her CMI Level 5 Operations/Departmental Management Apprenticeship! This is a remarkable milestone and a true reflection of the commitment, perseverance and professional growth required to manage full time work, and study.
Chantelle started the Apprenticeship in July 2023 with Whyy? Change to strengthen her leadership and management skills. Chantelle spoke on her achievement:
“I am so happy that I’ve now completed my Level 5 Management Apprenticeship with Distinction, and I now feel that I have the skills to go onto great things in my career and with the NEBRC, and I’m so grateful for their continued support on my journey. I would also recommend Whyy? Change to anyone planning on undertaking an Apprenticeship, as their guidance has really contributed to my success.”
Head of Business Development Steve Leach commented:
“I had the pleasure of being present when Chantelle was awarded her CMI level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Not only was that a great achievement in its own right, Chantelle also completed this as an apprenticeship; passing level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager Level 5 with a Distinction grade.
Modules included: Managing Stakeholder Relationships, Creating and Delivering Operational Plans, Managing Finance and Managing Change.
As an employer it is important to develop staff and help them realise their own potential, which in tern benefits the organisation. The CMI level 5 Diploma is important in its own right, but by bolting the apprenticeship onto the learning means the candidate has to actually apply the learning in the workplace, and be effective in its application.
Chantelle worked really hard to achieve this, whilst at the same time as running her portfolio and supporting line-managed staff and peers. We are immensely proud of what she has achieved and its great to see the learning being applied on a daily basis.”
We can’t wait to see what Chantelle accomplishes next in her career, and a huge congratulations on this outstanding success!
